ESCAPE THROUGH CULTURE gamified cultural experience

THE PROJECT

The project will develop a digital escape game infrastructure for mobile devices and computers, with the use of Augmented Reality. Using Greek literary texts and their English translations related to specific elements of the Greek cultural landscape as depicted by prominent Greek writers, the project will support the creation of interactive escape games available for indoor or outdoor use. In particular, the digital game "Escape through Culture" will be approaching the cultural experience in multiple ways, through the layers of the literature, the space (and the time), and the cultural landscape itself, namely through a "hyperspace", where the additional dimensions will constitute the interpretative parameters of the user's engagement.
